The Inset Shade Floor Lamp treats light as architecture. Four walnut uprights rise past a suspended drum shade, holding it in a turned walnut ring like a lantern in a frame — a silhouette that nods to Japanese design as much as to mid-century America. Lit, the whole upper third of the lamp glows; unlit, it stands as sculpture.
