Delivery
When will it arrive?
How long delivery takes depends on whether your piece is in stock or built for you. Here's how to read the product page, what happens after you order, and how to get it sooner if you need to.
Start with the line on the product page
Every product page shows a short availability line under the price. Find yours below to see what it means and roughly when the piece will be in your home.
-

Only 3 left — ready to ship
In stock, but only a few left
Same timing as in stock. The number is how many were left when we last checked, so if it's the one you want, don't wait too long.
-
Made to order — ships in 8–12 weeks
Built for you after you order
Your fabric, leather, finish and size go to the workshop once you order. The window is how long it takes to build and ship from there. Then allow about 2–4 weeks for white-glove delivery (or 5–9 business days for parcel items).
Example: "ships in 8–12 weeks" usually means in your home in about 10–16 weeks.
Some pieces show a specific date instead, like "Made to order — ships March 4". That's the workshop's scheduled ship date.
-
Backordered — more arriving March
Sold out, more on the way
The maker has sold through its current stock and expects more in the month shown. That month is the maker's own estimate and can move, and we'll tell you if it does. Allow 2–4 weeks for delivery once it arrives.
-
Out of stock — available to order
You can still order it
None in stock right now and no restock date yet. You can still place an order. If timing matters, ask us first and we'll check with the maker.
-
Available to order
We'll confirm a date
We don't get live stock updates for this item. We confirm timing with the maker after you order, or before you order if you ask.
As of Oct 8, 9:15 AM
The small gray time under the line shows when we last checked stock with the maker. Most items are re-checked every morning.

Ordering a mix? If your order has both parcel and white-glove pieces, they travel separately. Parcel items usually arrive first.
Getting ready for delivery day
White-glove
- Measure doorways, hallways, stair turns and elevators. Tight turns matter more than straight widths.
- Tell us ahead of time about stairs, gate codes or parking limits.
- Clear a path and move lamps, frames and breakables out of the way.
- Decide which room and spot each piece goes in.
- Look everything over with the team before they leave.
Parcel
- Watch for the tracking email and plan to bring the boxes in soon after delivery.
- Check the boxes for damage and photograph anything that looks wrong.
- Keep the packaging until you've unpacked and checked the piece.
- If something arrives damaged, contact us right away and we'll handle it with the maker.
Need it by a certain date?
These pieces arrive fastest. Use the "Ships In" filter on any collection page to narrow down.
Common questions
Can I change my order after I place it?
Usually, yes, if you ask early. In-stock pieces can often be changed before they ship. For made-to-order pieces, changes are easiest before production starts. Changing the fabric, finish or size after that can restart the build window.
What if my delivery date changes?
Makers sometimes revise build or restock dates. If yours moves, we'll let you know as soon as we hear and give you the new estimate. You never have to chase us for it.
Can you deliver on a specific day?
White-glove deliveries are scheduled with you once your piece is ready, so we work around your calendar. If you need everything in place by a certain date, tell us before you order and we'll check whether it can be done.
Why did my order arrive in more than one delivery?
Smaller pieces ship by UPS or FedEx and larger pieces come by white-glove delivery. Pieces from different makers can also be ready at different times. When an order mixes them, they arrive separately, usually with the parcel items first.
Do you deliver outside Tennessee?
Yes. White-glove delivery covers all lower 48 states, and parcel items ship anywhere in the U.S.
Does the time of year make a difference?
A little. The weeks before the holidays and early spring are our busiest, so scheduling can take a few extra days. If you're aiming for a holiday, order early.
What if something arrives damaged?
Look everything over at delivery if you can, photograph anything that's wrong, and contact us right away. We'll handle the claim and the repair or replacement with the maker so you don't have to.
Have a date in mind?
Moving, hosting or finishing a room by a certain day? Tell us the piece and the date before you order, and we'll tell you honestly whether we can make it.
Delivery times are estimates. They depend on the maker, the season and your schedule. If a date changes, we'll let you know as soon as we do.
