We are creating a premium sleep and wellness destination where beautiful design, restorative products, hospitality, and expert guidance come together. Restwell will serve customers who want more than a mattress store. They want trusted guidance, a beautiful environment, thoughtful products, and a better way to sleep and live.
We are looking for an Operating Partner to help lead, grow, and shape this business from the ground up.
This is not a traditional retail management role. We are looking for someone who wants to build a business, not simply manage a store.
The Opportunity
As the Operating Partner for Restwell, you will be responsible for helping turn a new concept into a thriving business.
You will lead the sales floor, build customer relationships, manage the team, protect the customer experience, maintain the beauty of the showroom, help guide inventory decisions, and constantly look for ways to grow the brand.
The right person will think and act like an owner. They will take initiative, bring ideas, solve problems, create momentum, and care deeply about the success of the business.
This role includes meaningful performance-based profit sharing tied to the success of Restwell. It is designed to reward profitable growth and an ownership mindset. This is not an equity ownership role.
What You'll Own
Sales and Customer Experience
You will lead from the front.
You will personally sell, coach others to sell, and make sure every customer receives a premium, consultative experience. Customers should leave Restwell feeling listened to, cared for, educated, and confident in their purchase.
You will be expected to build trust, follow up, close sales, create referrals, and help establish Restwell as the most trusted sleep and wellness destination in the region.
Growth and Business Development
You will help grow the business every day.
That means looking for new opportunities, building local relationships, developing referral sources, helping create events, identifying partnership opportunities, and bringing ideas that increase traffic, sales, and brand awareness.
You will be expected to think beyond the four walls of the showroom.
Team Leadership
You will help build and lead a high-performing team.
That includes coaching salespeople, setting standards, creating energy, holding people accountable, and helping develop a culture of professionalism, hospitality, ownership, and excellence.
Brand and Showroom Experience
You will be responsible for making sure the showroom always reflects the Restwell brand.
That includes merchandising, product presentation, cleanliness, lighting, atmosphere, visual standards, and the overall feeling customers experience when they walk through the door.
Restwell should feel beautiful, calm, premium, trustworthy, and different from a typical mattress store.
Inventory and Margin Awareness
You will help manage inventory flow and make smart business decisions.
You do not need to arrive as an inventory expert, but you must be able to learn the business, understand margins, recognize what customers are responding to, identify slow movers, and help ownership make better product and pricing decisions.
