2015 Parade of Homes

Braden's Designer, Cindy Hamby, Works this Show House from the Ground Up

We are pleased to announce and highlight the design work of Braden’s Designer, Cindy Hamby, in conjunction with Sentinel Builders owner, Gary Duncan. Hamby has worked alongside Duncan for a number of years helping to select both exterior and interior design details for Sentinel Builders’ new residential construction projects.

Hamby says, “When I saw this particular house plan, I thought it would be the perfect show house to pair fine home furnishings from Braden’s Lifestyles with the superior home construction of Sentinel Builders.”

Hamby has been involved as a designer with the Knoxville Parade of Homes previously, in addition to a number of other local specialty events and fundraisers, and has grown accustomed to the process of completing a home! “I start with the overall house plan including exterior elevations, window and door placement and color selections for the exterior of the house. I then move to the interior and help with cabinet selections, plumbing, tile, fireplaces, color and all remaining interior details, including space planning.”

Although there are a number of new homes included in this year’s Parade of Homes, this particular house is located in a wonderful family neighborhood, with a pool and clubhouse, in Farragut, according to Hamby.

“I would highly recommend anyone who is looking to buy or remodel a home to visit the Parade of Homes to meet contractors, become familiar with various living communities and to see the latest trends in home construction and interior design.”

This year’s parade, presented by ORNL Federal Credit Union, offers final home tours this weekend, the 23rd-25th from noon to 5pm each day, and admission is free!
